SUBMISSIONS

The Artistry Foundation welcomes submissions from anyone and everyone! 

Please read this page in its entirety to ensure your submission is complete. Incomplete submissions will not be considered. 

All submissions must be original works by a sole creator. Any evidence of plagiarism or theft of ideas or images will result in the rejection of your submission. The Artistry Foundation does not tolerate transphobic, racist, ableist, unnecessarily violent, or misogynistic language, and the editors reserve the right to not respond to such submissions. All writing submissions must be written in English.

Please wait to query us about the status of your submission until at least 2 months have passed. Our team works to give each and every submission the consideration it deserves. 

ALL SUBMISSIONS SHOULD BE EMAILED TO submissions@theartistryfoundation.org 

Submissions of ART should include the following materials:

1.) Introductory cover letter with a brief third-person bio in the body of your email

2.) Attachment image of the artwork in JPG format at a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. These attached image files should be titled as follows: “Last Name_First Name_Art.”

3.) If the submitted work is part of a series (a triptych or comic strip, for example) then please clearly indicate the order in which they should appear in your cover letter.

4.) If you would like to submit multiple pieces of writing, please upload them as separate submissions. We aim to provide personalized feedback on writings within 6 months after you submit, regardless of whether your work is accepted.

Submissions of PROSE should be formatted as follows:

1.) Double-spaced, Times New Roman, Size 12 font

Submissions of PROSE should include the following materials:

1.) Introductory cover letter with a brief third-person bio in the body of your email

2.) The written work, submitted as a SINGLE attachment (DOC, DOCX, PDF) titled as follows: “Last Name_First Name_Prose”

3.) If you would like to submit multiple pieces of writing, please upload them as separate submissions. We aim to provide personalized feedback on writings within 6 months after you submit, regardless of whether your work is accepted.

Submissions of POETRY should be formatted as follows:

1.) Double-spaced, Times New Roman, Size 12 font

Submissions of POETRY should include the following materials:

1.) Introductory cover letter with a brief third-person bio in the body of your email

2.) The written work, submitted as a SINGLE attachment (DOC, DOCX, PDF) titled as follows: “Last Name_First Name_Poetry”

3.) If you would like to submit multiple pieces of writing, please upload them as separate submissions. We aim to provide personalized feedback on writings within 6 months after you submit, regardless of whether your work is accepted.

Submissions of INTERVIEW, REVIEW, FEATURE, OR NEWS ARTICLES should be formatted as follows:

1.) Double-spaced, Times New Roman, Size 12 font

Submissions of INTERVIEW, REVIEW, FEATURE, OR NEWS ARTICLES should include the following materials:

1.) Introductory cover letter with a brief third-person bio in the body of your email

2.) The written work, submitted as a SINGLE attachment (DOC, DOCX, PDF) titled as follows: “Last Name_First Name_Category”

3.) If you would like to submit multiple pieces of writing, please upload them as separate submissions. We aim to provide personalized feedback on writings within 6 months after you submit, regardless of whether your work is accepted.

We consider most kinds of writing and artwork, but if your work falls between categories or is difficult to categorize, we ask that you query us first at editor@theartistryfoundation.org.
